Mission Statement

The Mission Advancement Office will offer encouragement and support to all IHM Congregation ministries.

To achieve this goal the ministry advancement staff will:

• Collaborate with the Congregation Administration, Regional Superiors and appropriate committees to assess ministerial needs;
• Present proposals for new projects to the General Administration;
• Support IHM Sisters engaged in new as well as ongoing projects;
• Establish a donor prospect database for use in the IHM Annual Appeal;
• Solicit funds to support the needs of IHM ministries;
• Continue the IHM Mission Fund Project.

About Mission Advancement

The Mission Advancement Office opened in September 2001. The office currently solicits funding from a database of over 18,000 possible donor prospects. These friends and relatives of the IHM sisters receive the newsletter --IHM Sisters On Mission-- twice a year, an annual appeal letter, and a donor report.
