Opportunities for Women 18 +

Come and See: Sisters’ Night allows young women (18-35) the opportunity to share informally with IHM Sisters. Each evening (6-9 pm) offers the opportunity for sharing a meal, sharing fun and sharing prayer.

Service at Camilla Hall affords the opportunity for young women (18 -35) to join the Sisters in doing service at the infirmary of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Through service at Camilla the women interested in learning about the Congregation can meet and share with our Sisters living at our Powerhouse of Prayer.

Discernment Retreats focus on the importance of listening to God's call and discovering the many ways that God speaks to us while reflecting on the IHM Charism. These retreats include time for personal and communal prayer as well as the opportunity to interact with the Sisters in Formation. Any young woman (18 -35) interested in participating in a Discernment Retreat should contact Sister Rose at ihmvoc@aol.com or 610-889-1553 ext. 1975.
Summer retreat days scheduled individually.

Summer Service affords the opportunity for young women to join the IHM Sisters in doing service. Activities might include: Camilla Hall Infirmary, an IHM Literacy Center, a vacation bible school program.  For information about participating in a summer service opportunity, contact Sister Rose at ihmvoc@aol.com or 610-889-1553 ext. 1975.

For high school students:
Days of Reflection
present high school students with the opportunity to learn about religious life. The girls who attend have the opportunity to reflect and pray about their vocation as well as enjoy conversation and fun with IHM Sisters including those in the Formation process.

For junior high school students:
Days of Reflection introduce sixth, seventh and eighth grade girls to the concept of vocation in an informal, enjoyable way.

Sister Rose Bernadette, Sister Mary Glackin, and the Sisters in Formation conduct Vocation Awareness Programs. These presentations are conducted at schools, religious education programs or at Villa Maria House of Studies. During the program the Sisters share information about vocations and a Sister shares her vocation story. The students also have the opportunity to ask questions.

For information about these events or to schedule a vocation awareness program contact:
Sr. Rose Bernadette Mulligan at 610-889-1553 ext. 1975 or ihmvoc@aol.com.
